About Us

Welcome to our team, we hope to serve you and provide you with affordable Biochar! As an integrated enterprise, we are dedicated to offering innovative and sustainable solutions for both forestry and marine energy utilization. Our diverse operations span from forestry and marine products to finished products, all designed to contribute to a more sustainable and circular economy. Our Drive: Circular Economy At Biochar Seaweed Technology, every decision we make is driven by our commitment to environmental innovation. We firmly believe in the principles of a circular economy, where resources flow seamlessly from one industry to another, establishing a continuous cycle of material and energy. This approach allows us to rethink how we utilize resources, ultimately contributing to a more sustainable future.

Our Biochar Production Process

Our Biochar is produced through the pyrolysis of biomass materials—such as wood, log or other organic matter, under temperature (approximately 600°C) conditions in an oxygen-limited or anaerobic environment. This thermochemical process decomposes the biomass, resulting in a stable, carbon-rich solid known as biochar.

The structure of biochar is characterized by relatively coarse porosity and a variable specific surface area ranging from 10 to 500 m²/g, depending on feedstock and pyrolysis conditions. These porous characteristics enhance the material’s ability to retain water and nutrients.

Due to its physicochemical properties, biochar is primarily used as a soil amendment. It improves soil structure, increases water-holding capacity, enhances nutrient retention, and can raise soil pH levels, especially in acidic soils. These benefits contribute to improved soil fertility and overall agricultural productivity.

Crops Grow better

  • improves plant growth and enhances crop yields
  • Another benefit of adding biochar to your soil is that its carbon will not be released as quickly as greenhouse gas
  • Besides providing housing to soil creatures, biochar’s tubules, when in the hydrophilic state, draw in water and nutrients through capillary action. The water is then metered out to plants as needed, giving biochar-amended soils a drought tolerance they may not otherwise have. The nutrients not only feed plant roots but also feed the microbes living in the biochar housing complexes.

Benefits of Our Biochar

How does our Biochar Benifit you?

Production Process

Our biochar is made by heating American pine and hemlock to temperatures between 1000–1300°C. This process locks carbon into a stable form, resulting in biochar that is highly effective at improving soil structure and fertility.

Alkaline Properties

Our biochar has a natural alkaline pH, making it ideal for improving acidic soils and creating a more balanced pH for healthier plant growth.

Enhanced Crop Growth

Perfect for crops like wheat, grapes, and peanuts, our biochar helps regulate soil pH, boost fertility, and improve water retention, all of which support higher yields and healthier crops.

Increased Organic Matter

Rich in organic material, our biochar adds valuable carbon to the soil, improving its structure and promoting microbial activity.

Soil Aeration and Drainage

Our biochar enhances soil porosity, improving drainage and aeration, which is crucial for root health and overall plant vitality.

Conclusion

Our biochar, derived from American pine and hemlock, is a highly effective soil amendment. It helps improve soil quality, corrects acidity, and supports sustainable agricultural practices. By incorporating this eco-friendly product into your soil, you contribute to better soil health, enhanced crop production, and a more sustainable future for farming.
